What is Fruit Acid?
Fruit acid is the generic name for Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) which can be found in fruit. Fruit acid provides the nutrients needed by our skin cells and is a natural exfoliant. Fruit acids are very gentle on the skin compared to other acids.
The primary ingredient in Baby Foot® Exfoliating foot peel is a fruit acid,* which is very gentle compared to other acids. Fruit acid goes deep into the layers of dead skin cells and activates the peeling process. The cells in the dermal layers are forced to the surface and then peel away naturally. Once the treatment cycle is complete, a new layer of beautiful, baby-soft skin emerges.
